Microsoft Paint:-




1.      What is Microsoft paint or Ms Paint?

-         Microsoft Paint, also known as MS Paint or Paint, is a graphics editing program that's included in all versions of Microsoft Windows.

 

-         Microsoft Paint, also known as Paint, is a simple, user-friendly graphics editing program that comes with all versions of Microsoft Windows

 

2.      What are the features of Ms Paint?

Here, is given some features about Microsoft Paint / Ms Paint:-

-         Cropping Images :-

Cropping an image is the process of removing or adjusting the outside edges of an image to improve framing or composition, draw a viewer's eye to the subject, or change the size or aspect ratio.

 

-         Resizing Images:-

Resizing allows you to make your image smaller or larger without cutting anything out. Resizing alters the image's dimensions, which typically affects the file size and image quality. The most common reason for resizing photos is to reduce the size of large files to make them easier to email or share online.

 

-         Drawing pictures and edit them in your computer:-

Add a personal touch to your favorite moments by drawing on your photos. To get started, open the photo or video you'd like to mark up. Select Edit image from the top of your screen. Select Markup and then, from the toolbar, select one of three drawing tools (2 available pens, and one highlighter)

 

-         Adding basic shapes and text to image:-

1.      In the Markup tab of the Image Editor, choose Square or Circle.

2.      Draw your shape onto your image by clicking and dragging your mouse. ...

3.      Choose the Fill and Outline of your shape.

4.      Choose the Color of your shape by using the color option below your image. ...

5.      Select the Line Width of your Shape.

3.      File formats:-

-         You can easily Opens and save files in Windows bitmap (BMP), GIF, PNEG, JPEG, and single-page TIFF formats.

 

4.      Tools

Includes a variety of tools to help you edit photos, such as: 

-         Paint bucket :-

The Paint Bucket tool allows you to select a color or texture and apply it to a model face. The Paint Bucket tool is used for three primary tasks when modeling and rendering: Replacing a solid color or texture with a downloaded texture image from your Texture Library.

-         Pencils tool:-

The Pencil tool is used to draw free hand lines with a hard edge. The pencil and paintbrush are similar tools

-         Spray can tool :-

Spray paints are typically contained in aerosol cans, which work by transforming liquefied paint and gas into a fine mist.

 

-         Eraser tool: -

The Eraser Tool can make pixels transparent or match them to the image background color. Select the Eraser Tool (E) .Use the tool options bar to customize tool settings, like Size and Hardness, to get the effect you want. Drag over the parts of the image you want to erase.

-         Line and curved line tool :-

This tool is used to draw lines and curves. These two abilities are grouped into a single tool because a line is actually a perfectly straight curve. In other words, this tool always draws curves, where a straight line is a subset involving no actual curvature.

-         Multiple shape tool :-

Learn about composite shapes and how they can be identified. A composite or compound shape is one that consists of multiple different shapes or figures.

 

-         Text tool:-

This tool allows text to be typed onto the current layer using the Primary color. The Text Controls in the Tool Bar can be used to change the font, the size of the font, formatting, text rendering mode, justification, ant aliasing and blend mode

-         Cut out tool :-

In the context of machining, a cutting tool or cutter is typically a hardened metal tool that is used to cut, shape, and remove material from a workpiece by means of machining tools as well as abrasive tools by way of shear deformation. The majority of these tools are designed exclusively for metals.

5.      Tool bar in Ms Paint:-

The toolbar in Microsoft Paint is called the Ribbon, and it's located at the top of the window. The Ribbon is a collection of tools and options that are grouped into tabs, each with related commands. The Ribbon is designed to make it easier to find and use the features you need for drawing and editing.

Here are some of the tools and options you can find in the Ribbon:

·         Home tab

Includes commonly used tools and options like the clipboard, image, tools, shapes, and colors

·         View tab

Includes options to change how you view your work, like zoom, show or hide rulers, gridlines, and the status bar, and display in full screen mode 

Other parts of MS Paint include:

·         Title bar

Located at the top of the window, it allows you to identify the app, move the window, and minimize, maximize, or close the app

·         Menu bar

Located after the title bar, it contains sub-menus like files, view, edit, and help

·         Scroll bar

A vertical bar on the right side of the window or a horizontal bar below the window, it allows you to scroll the pages of the window

 

·         Status bar

A horizontal bar placed just below the parent bar, it displays various kinds of information
